Wax Metal Wood
VIDEO
Details
This installation comes from fear and strong feelings in the body. It shows a space where responsibility
and family patterns feel heavy and inescapable.
Blue wax covers plates, cutlery, a wooden door, and a ventilation grille. It is smooth and almost
obsessive, carrying traces of emotion. The sound of cutlery scraping plates repeats again and again,
turning simple gestures into something sharp and uneasy.
The work invites viewers to enter, but unlike them, the structures it shows do not allow leaving. It
explores how suffering can build up quietly, and how we can feel strange closeness to the things that both hold us and weigh on us.
